Blix-a-thon —
an experience in itself.
Blix-a-thon is an energetic, hands-on challenge for schools and after-school centers. Teams are given a mission (for example, "The Great Bridge Rescue," "Car with Gears," or "Scissor Lift" ) and get to work with durable Blix materials. They design, build, test, and improve their prototypes—just like real engineers. Along the way, they learn about mechanics (gears, transmissions, and leverage), develop problem-solving skills, and collaborate under time pressure.
Each round ends with a short demonstration or mini-race; the judges pay attention to creativity, functionality, and presentation. The result: beaming faces, clever designs, and lasting confidence. Perfect for technology weeks , open days , and talent development.
