In collaboration with the Petje Af Foundation , we organised a workshop at De Regenboog Primary School where 25 pupils were introduced to the Blix Discover Electricity Set for the first time.
In this lesson, the children discovered step by step how a circuit works, what a switch does, and how electricity can be used to create light, movement, and sound . Not just through explanation, but by building, testing, and improving themselves .
Together the students investigated:

how to make a closed circuit

what happens when you interrupt the circuit

how to combine parts into a working system
-
how to solve problems by experimenting instead of quitting
The classroom quickly turned into a space full of curiosity, collaboration and creativity .
Students helped each other, shared tips, tested alternatives, and celebrated when the light actually came on —both on the table and in their eyes. 💡
